Building a remote jobs and career platform — the product version of the hiring problem I work on daily.
- Launched and operate the platform end to end alongside a full-time people role.
I work from Islamabad and build teams for companies in the US and the Gulf. I joined one with no HR function at all and hired 150+ people into it. I also do the marketing side, because the reason good people say yes is rarely the job description.

PresentA study abroad platform helping students find universities, scholarships and admissions routes they would otherwise never hear about.
The same operating question in four shapes: how do you get the right people to the right work?
Universities, scholarships and admissions in one place
ScholyHub helps students find the right university abroad without paying an agent to guess for them. It maps programmes, scholarships, intakes and entry requirements into a single searchable layer, then walks applicants through the paperwork that actually decides outcomes. Most of our users are first-generation applicants from South Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Make a funded international education reachable for any student with the grades to earn it.

Remote roles matched to real career paths
Remotire connects remote-first companies with candidates outside the usual hiring markets. Every listing is screened for genuine remote policy, stated pay and a real hiring manager. The platform grew out of watching strong Pakistani talent lose global roles to nothing more than a broken application process.
Make where a person lives irrelevant to the quality of work they can get hired for.

Early growth
AI and software products built for global clients
Zikra Infotech builds AI and software products for clients across the US, UK, Gulf and Australia. I own the people function — hiring, structure, performance and the operating rhythm that lets delivery teams ship without a manager standing over them. The company went from a small engineering group to 100+ professionals under that system.
An AI-powered CRM that closes the loop
Z360 is a CRM built for teams that live in their pipeline rather than their reporting tool. It captures every call, message and email, then uses AI to summarise the account, flag risk and write the next follow-up. I manage the people side — hiring the team that builds and sells it, and keeping the structure sound as it grows.
US and global companies on one side; talent that never reaches them on the other. I hire across that gap from Islamabad, and build the products that make the crossing repeatable.
For companies with roles open that their local market fills too slowly, too expensively, or not at all.
Shape
Per search, alongside your team. Weeks rather than months for most roles.
For companies that have hired past their structure and now have headcount with no system underneath it.
Shape
Ongoing. This is the work I did at Zikra Infotech. I joined a company with no HR function and hired 100+ people into it.
For founders and heads of people who need a diagnosis and a plan, not another headcount.
Shape
Shorter engagements, scoped to a question. One call to start.
All three start the same way: a short note about the roles or the problem as you see it, then a call where I ask questions rather than pitch. Write to me or book thirty minutes.

Almost nobody in people operations publishes. Writing for review means the argument has to survive someone whose job is to break it, which is a useful habit to bring back into an operating meeting.

What I do with the hours nobody is paying for.
The thing I plan the rest of the year around. Northern Pakistan has some of the best high country anywhere, and I take every excuse to get into it. The long-term plan involves a house up there.
Long walks at altitude, ideally with a summit at the end. It is the one activity where I stop optimising anything and just keep moving.
New places, new food, and a reliable way to be reminded how much of the world runs on rules I have never had to think about.
Strength work, most weeks. Progressive overload is the most honest feedback loop I know. The weight either moves or it does not.
The one place a phone genuinely cannot reach me. Good for the shoulders, better for thinking.
Distance rides when the weather allows. Same appeal as hiking: a simple objective, a long time to get there.
Essays on hiring systems, people operations and putting AI to work in a real business.
Hiring plans, org design, a team that has outgrown its structure, or something else entirely. The specific version of the question gets the better answer.
It goes straight to my inbox. No form routing, no assistant triaging it first.
